Mass Flow Meters

SWEIPL brings to its customers Mass Flow Meters for the continuous measurement or feeding of free flowing bulk solids, from pulverized to granulated. Installation of Mass Flow Meters are the best solution especially when environmental conditions i.e. too much dust formation demand a closed system or when constrained by space or too high material temperature utilization of other system are ruled out .

The MFM is based on reactive force and has a curved chute to guide the flow of material. Deflection of the particle flow generates a reactive force proportional to the instantaneous flow rate. Chute deflection due to radial acceleration, is detected by a maintenance free strain gauge type load cell. This signal is then electronically processed by microprocessor based Control System WS200/C + WD200 to produce flow rate and total weight value at accuracies better than ±2% & with repeatability of 0.5%.
