Mechainical Fire Extinguishers

Mechanical Foam type extinguisher is a powerful knockdown agent (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) for spill fires involving flammable and volatile liquids like petrol, paints and alcohols. These extinguishers form a thick blanket of foam over the burning surface, effectively cutting the oxygen supply, there-by smothering the fire and preventing re-ignition. Mechanical foam extinguishers are also effective for Class A fires.
