Carbon is preferred as a sliding material where high friction is present, especially under liquids, for high or low temperatures where the usual lubricants like oil or grease can not be used, under corrosive and radio-active gases, when dry running is necessary and when the product should not be communicated with oil or grease. We offer different grades to address the above requirements and our grades have carved a niche for themselves in market segments like sealing rings and pump vanes.
