| Type ASMS/D1/W2 are outside mounted balanced seal, This is a multiple spring, reverse balanced seal with O-ring as secondary sealing member. Secondary sealing handle with various elastomers can be offered for wide service application. Which require no shaft or sleeve step for balancing. Seal shows good performance in high vacuum conditions. Since no auxiliary equipments are needed for installation, it is very cost effective, economical and maintenance free. These seal can be easily installed and repaired in the field to minimized replacement costs and downtime. Main features of the ASMS/D1 dry running seals are: Simple, rugged drive design that withstands shaft movement vibration and deflection.ASMS/D1/W2 are SS, glass lined and agitator & vessels. These seals are basically used on top entry agitators as dry running seals. When food products or pharmaceutical products are agitated in agitator, mixing of any other liquid will contaminate the product & affect its quality; hence these dry running seals are used. |
