Media Converter Chassis

media converter chassis is able to host up to 14 media converters. Fiber media converters transfer’s data of 101001000BaseTX Gigabit Ethernet copper to fiber interfaces on each standalone convertor. These media Converters chassis are designed to bundle media convertors which receive data then convert and transmit to fiber network. The chassis is supports Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Multi-mode and Single-mode Fiber Media Converters. All converters are individually secured into the chassis and can be hot-swapped for maximum connection reliability. The dual hot-swappable power supplies ensure continues network operation. The Plexonics Media Converter Chassis is a 14-slot converter centre for Plexonics media converter modules with 2U 19” rack mountable design. Depending on the specific requirements of the network, several Plexonics media converters are compatible with the chassis.
