HigHNoon is a light and shadow based instrument positioning device to be used by clinicians for CT guided percutaneous interventions. The system can be used to plan the instrument positioning (place the instrument at the specified target point within the body, through the defined entry point on the skin) on DICOM 3.0 images received from the CT and assist the clinicians (interventional radiologistoncologist) to insert such instrument by guiding them with the opticalshadow based HigHNoon positioning unit.
