Medium Soya Alkyd Resin

Medium oil length alkyds have quick drying characteristics and high gloss. Hardness and adhesion of the film are excellent and these properties can be further enhanced by incorporating rosinated phenolic resins.

Compatibility : Compatible with reduced phenolics, oil soluble maleic resins, oil soluble pure phenolics, ester gum, drying and bodied oils, etc.

Solubility : Soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, Light Solvent Naptha (LSN), Acetate esters, Mineral Oil Turpentine (MTO), Cellosolve, insoluble in alcohols.

Applications :

• Quick drying finishes, furniture coatings, primers and undercoats, stoving enamels*.
• *Stoving with 0.03% cobalt & 0.3% lead at 150°C for 30 minutes yields excellent films.
