Melodic contains mefenamic acid and dicyclomine. Mefenamic acid offers adequate analgesic and antipyretic effect; causes minimum gastric irritation; and effective and safe even at repeated use. Dicyclomine is anticholinergic and antispasmodic drug. It effectively relieves cramps or spasm of the stomach, intestine and bladder. Most suited in treating dysmenorrhoea.
