INDICATIONS:

• Cattle:
  • For the control of fever and inflammation associated with mastitis, respiratory tract infections, and endotoxemia.
  • For the relief of pain and inflammation related to musculoskeletal disorders.
• Horses:
  • For the alleviation of inflammation and pain due to musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Recommended for the management of visceral pain associated with colic.

Cattle:

• Recommended dose: 2.2 mg/kg body weight.
• Administer intravenously for antipyretic effects in acute inflammatory conditions.
• Identify and treat the underlying cause with appropriate concomitant therapy.

Horses:

• Musculoskeletal Disorders: 1.1 mg/kg body weight once daily.
  • Administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
  • Treatment may be continued for up to 5 days.
  • Onset of action occurs within 2 hours; peak effect between 12-16 hours; duration: 24-36 hours.
• Colic-Associated Pain: 1.1 mg/kg body weight.
  • Intravenous administration is recommended for rapid relief.
  • Clinical response observed in under 15 minutes in many cases.
  • Treatment can be repeated if signs of colic recur (about 10% of horses required 1-2 additional treatments).
  • The underlying cause of colic should be diagnosed and addressed accordingly.
