Melamine Powder

Melamine Powder  formaldehyde resins are usually used in producing laminates that possess good hardness, and resistance to scratch, stain, water and heat. Laminates used in some industrial electrical applications possess high mechanical strength, good heat resistance and good electrical insulating properties.

 
Asbestos filled Melamine resins possess very high dielectric strength and high heat resistance. In addition to the dimensional stability, Melamine Formaldehyde moulding powder gives clear and bright colours: it is easily mouldable and offers resistance to surface scratching.

Applications

• Laminates : For producing laminates used for table tops, kitchen shelves, interiors of railway coaches, counters, decks, and instrument panels
• Consumer and industrial moulded items : Used in consumer goods like crockery and cutlery items; industrial moulded goods such as automotive components, switch gears, switch housing, junction box, fuse carriers, including circuit breakers and other electrical and electronic items
• Treatment resin for paper goods : For currency paper, tissue paper; food wrapper, photographic paper, shopping and shipping bags, toilet paper, facial tissue paper, and map paper

• Melamine Resin for Textile Auxiliaries For providing anti-crease treatment to cotton and other fabrics

• Resin for Lacquer Paints  : For Motorcars, refrigerator cabinets, washing machines, kitchen equipment, water heaters;

• Adhesives : Melamine adhesives from Melamine resins are extra strong, extra tough, highly water resistant and colourless (veneered doors).
