INTRODUCTION :

“NOVA” MELT FLOW INDEX TESTER (MFI) is specificallydesignecd to cater the needs in Plastic Industries for Plastic Raw Material Testing and Quality as well as productivity improvement.

APPLICATION:

“NOVA” M.F.I.Tester is available in two models.

With Digital Temperature Indicator cum Controller – Micro Control Based.
With Microprocessor Based Auto Tunning PID Temperature Indicator cum Cont roller (Optional).

Both are designed to calculate accurate rate of extrusion of Molten resin, LDPE, HDPE, PP etc as per ASTM-D-1238 Standard. It is also useful for following testing.

CONSTRUCTION:

Sturdy & Compact construction provides easy portability moveability and high test performance. The Molten Plastic material passes throug h an orifice of specific diameter & length under prescribed condition of Temperature & Pressure MFI consists of electrically heated barrel where the linear temperature is kept Constant at pre-set temperature by electronically control circuitary.

Set of levelling screw at the bottom.
High & Repreduceable accuracy.
Built-in Digital Timer.
Sensitive Pt-100 sensor.

Orifice remover. - Orifice cleaner. – Barrel cleaner - Sample cutter - Sample spoon -- Mirror with magnetic base stand - Melt Inde x orifice - Piston - Material charger.

Melt Flow Index Tester Model as above, but available with Microprocessor Based Auto Tunning PID Control System – Optionally.

RECOMMANDED ACCESSORIES :

Suitable Voltage Stabilizer (Optional)
Illumination with Timer (Optional).

SPECIAL NOTE : THE DIGITAL CONTROLLER WILL BE PROVIDED WITH TEST AND CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE FROM OUR ASSOCIATE M/S. NOVA CALIBRATION CENTRE HAVING TRACEABILITY TO NATIONAL STANDARD.
