Indications :

• Post transplant Nocardia infection
• As prophylaxis in transplant surgery

Dosage : The Recommended Dosages Of Meropenem Are:
Intra-abdominal Infections :

• IV 1g every 8 hrs (adults)
• IV 20mgkg every 8 hrs (children)
• 2g every 8 hrs (max. Dose)

Meningitis :

• IV 40 mg kg every 8 hrs (children above 3 months of age)
• 2g every 8 h (Maximum Dose)

Skin And Skin Inflammation :

• IV 500mg every 8 h (adults) 
• IV 10mgkg every 8 h (children above 3 months of age)
• 500mg every 8 h (maximum Dose) Dosage Adjustment  

Renal Impairment : Required
Hepatic Impairment : Not necessary  
Available Packing : 10 vials of USP 500 mg and 10 vials of 1 g
