The tension of the MET Tensioner is generated using hysteresis brakes and built-in control circuit. Its tensioning mechanism runs without any mechanical contact, resulting in minimal friction from the connecting bearing. This provides a smooth, stable and consistent tension even in even high speed winding. All MET tensioner come with a "Auto Fine Tuning Circuit" which fine-tunes the tension by sensing the tension arm's movement. Its Control Circuits are packed within its solid and compact designed body casing. It operates with DC24V power and features wire jump prevention and Built-in wire breakage detection. Tension attenuation is also possible.
