This is a small Bakelite body toggle switch. It is actuated by moving a lever back and forth to open or close an electrical circuit. This switch changes its position when actuated and will remain in that position until actuated again. This switch function as DPDT means it offers an ON/OFF switch by changing the terminal position. It consists of 8 pins, one is used for input and the other one is used as output at two on each side. This switch can withstand high room temperature. It has an amperage of 2A.
