Description of Design and Working : Shri Krishna Disintegrators are well designed hammer mills of simple and sturdy construction. They are ideally suited where coarse grinding of soft and medium hard minerals and of vegetable products is required. The main shaft is the only revolving part, which requires no adjustment. This main shaft runs on ball / roller bearings and it contain fix / swing type hammers. The fineness of the finished products is controlled by the replaceable screens fitted on the lower half of the disintegrator body. The screens of desire mesh can be easily changed. All portions of the body where wear and abrasion is expected are lined with replaceable hard alloy liners.
The grinding (or disintegration) is achieved by the impact of hammers against the liner fitted in the body, and the fine products passes through the screen of desired fineness.
Range of Sizes : Shri Krishna Disintegrators are available in eight sizes of different production capacities and power consumption.
Beaters : The beaters are of steel alloy forged and heat treated. Their tips are coated with hard alloy.
Screens :
There are two kinds of screens �

• Steel Screens : Having steel bars welded in steel frame for heavy work.
• Perforated Steel Plate Screens : Held in M. S. iron frame suitable to Fibrous materials and light works.

Selection of Machine : It should be noted that for finer and of average heavy work, the medium size disintegrator is more suitable for coarse grinding.
It is better to install coarse screen and shift in rotary shifter afterwards (if necessary) to separate fine mesh powder. Extremely finer screens, if used, continuously restrict the out-put, hence they should be avoided.
The Disintegrators are supplied & fitted with one set of hammers and one pair of screens fitted in the machine.
