Metal Tube Rotameter

Metal Tube Rotameter is basically a variable area flowmeter. These 316L stainless steel meters feature flange connections, all welded construction (no O-rings), and an end to end length of 350mm. A float sensed by a magnet and indicated on the dial in terms of flowrate and tapered tube design provides longer, more linear scales. A 4-20mA transmitter option adds to its versatility.

Suitable for Flow Measurement of Translucent/Opaque Fluids with high operating Pressure and Temperature. Available in the sizes from 1/2" to 4". Available in various Total lengths 250 mm, 300 mm, 350 mm, 400 mm, to suit customer requirements

A 4-20mA Transmitter uses a unique magnetic sensor which is directly placed on the PCB. As the float moves in the taper tube the magnetic flux around the sensor changes in accordance with the float position. This change in magnetic flux causes the change in the output of the sensor. This output is amplified and linearised using microprocessor based circuitry to get standard loop powered 4-20 mA DC output.
