Mica or Muscovite is a platelet or lamellar
structured industrial mineral which can be described
as a potassium, aluminium silicate.
 Paints and mortar — smooth finish,
easy dispersion and decorative effect.
 Increase resistance to chemicals,
wear and tear and ultraviolet light in
coatings and varnishes.
 Plastics — production of complex injection
molded parts.
 Improve the acoustic qualities of
sound insulation, in automobile industry.
Non Hazardous material but avoid prolonged
breathing of dust. When in contact with eyes,
can cause irritation. Immediately flush eyes
with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
