Microsilica

We are offering microsilica, or silica fume, is widely used in high-performance and high strength concretes as mineral admixture.
Features of silica fume:
1. Significantly improve the compressive strength, fracture resistance, anti-permeability, corrosion prevention, impact resistance and anti-abrasion properties of concretes.
2. Enhance water retentivity and prevents bleeding and segregation thus largely enhancing pumpability.
3. Concrete durability is largely prolonged, especially when subject to severe chloride attack, sulfate attack and high humidity environment.
4. Increase the adhesion and thickness of shotcrete, at the same time lower the rebound of mortar.
5. Effectively prevent alkali-aggregate reaction.
6. With excellent pozzolanic effect, it can react with ca(oh)2, the cement hydration product, to form stable calcium-silicate-hydrate gel filling up the voids in the hardened cement paste. That is how the silica fume can improve the micro structure, comprehensive strength and durability of the concrete.
7. The amorphous spherical particles of silica fume helps enhancing the rheological property of concrete.
8. The ultra-fine (average diameter: 0.10î¼m~0.20î¼m) particles make silica fume an excellent filling material of concrete.
