Midwest and Dynamatic, time-honored and well-respected manufacturers of eddy current dynamometers, were acquired by Dyne Systems in 2002. With today’s materials, technology, engineering and manufacturing techniques, significant improvements in eddy current dynamometer design and manufacturing have been achieved. Midwest and Dynamatic dynamometers offer a wide range of choices in torque, speed and horsepower, and are a natural fit with Dyne Systems controls, test automation and data acquisition products. Having all components produced under one roof, with collaboration between departments, is an obvious advantage when integrating a system.
