Mifare Cards

MIFARE cards are high tech card , it is basically a contactless smart card , there are different types of MIFARE card.

MIFARE classic MIFARE card holds the memory, it is divided into blocks and segments for access control. MIFARE card are based on ASIC, these cards are widely used for electronic bill fold because of their low cost. MIFARE card 1K offers 1024 bytes of data storage which is split into 16 sectors and each sector has two different keys i.e. A and B, they perform writing , reading and value blocks.

MIFARE ultra light MIFARE ultra light cards have 64 bytes, without cryptographic security. This card is so expensive and it is used for disposable tickets for events.

MIFARE DESFire MIFARE DESFire is modeled on compatible core as the MIFARE ProX/smart MX , with hardware and software security feature .
