Coatxpert Mild Steel (MS) paint test panels are used for evaluating the performance of different types of paints and coatings on mild steel (MS) substrates. These panels are prepared by cutting mild steel sheets into standardized sizes and cleaning them thoroughly to remove any contaminants that could affect adhesion, edges of the panels are smooth and corners rounded, CoatXpert mild steel sheets are of consistent in quality and thickness. Common thickness ranges are 0.3 to 0.8 mm. Mill oil is applied to mild steel (MS) paint test panels to prevent oxidation and rust before the panels are used for coating testing. This layer can be easily removed during the cleaning process before applying the paint. MS paint test panels provide a controlled environment for comparing different paints and coatings, ensuring that the selected coating system meets the required performance standards for durability and protection of mild steel substrates in various environments.

The panels are 150mm X 75 mm, and the thickness is 0.6mm. The top surface is polished (non textured).

You can apply paint, powder coating, CED or any other type of coating on these panels by spray painting, screen painting, pad printing, brushing, dipping or rolling.

We can also use this panels for powder coating, CED or any other type of coating.
