Silybum marianum extract is made from the dried fruit of Silybum marianum G. The commercial extract is usually standardized to contain 80% total silymarin. There are water-soluble 40%, silybin 80%, silybin 90%, silybin 95%, silybin 98%, and water-soluble 80%.

1. Liver protective effect
