Girth gear and pinion gear are important transmission parts of ball mill. The motor drives the pinion and pinion drives the girth gear mounted on the drum, because of this, the ball mill start driving. The girth gear is connected to the cylinder shell by bolt.
Girth gears offered extensive application in varieties of equipment, such as ball mill, rotary kiln, cooler, dryer etc,covering the industries of Sponge Iron Plant, Cement Plant, Sugar Mill, Fertilizer Plant,Chemical Plant, Coal Washery, Activated Carbon Plant,Mining, Metallurgy, Electric Power,Port Machinery,Paper making etc.
Girth gears are made available in module range of 10 Module to 60 Module and in minimum diameters of 100mm to 8000mm.
