Mineral Wool

We stock Roxul, Thermafiber, and Fibrex mineral wool batts, bulk fibers, pipes, pipe and tank wraps, and blocks in many different densities, and thicknesses. Attributes Mineral wool products inhibit the spread of fires because mineral wool fibers are non-combustible, with melting temperatures in excess of 1900º F. Mineral wool products are useful for more than just fire resistant applications. They also trap air, slowing heat transfer, and like other insulating products available for fabrication and distribution at FSI, mineral wool products reduce air condensation, and act as effective acoustical insulators.
