Description: The PBC-450 of DCDC convertershas been designed for optimum avalanche photodiode (APD) performance. Theoutput voltage is precisely adjustable and highly stable and the temperature coefficientof the output voltage can be exactly adapted to the properties of the APD. Theoutput current is limited to a safe level so that the APD is protected againstoverload. The output voltage can be adjusted with an external control voltage.By means of an additional control voltage the amplification of the APD can either be adjusted with a closed loop or beprecisely modulated. The device has a wide operating voltage range from 3.3to 5.5 V. A silicon diode or pt1000 is used as temperature sensor.
