Modavinil 200 mg has active ingredients Modafinil which is cognitive enhancement tablet used to treat daytime drowsiness & promote wakefulness. It is used to treat excessive sleepiness caused by sleep apnea, narcolepsy or shift work sleep disorder. Modavinil reduces extreme sleepiness due to narcolepsy and other sleep disorders & promotes wakefulness. It minimizes excessive sleepiness by modulating the level of a chemical messenger in the brain. When the level of chemical messengers is balanced, there is stimulation in the brain, which helps the brain to arouse. This medication does not cure sleep disorders and may not get rid of all sleepiness. Modavinil does not take the place of getting enough sleep. It should not be used to treat tiredness or hold off sleep in people who do not have a sleep disorder.

Usage :  Modavinil is used in the treatment of narcolepsy. Modavinil modulates the levels of chemical messengers in the brain and exerts a stimulant effect to reduce extreme sleepiness. Take this medicine by mouth with or without food usually once daily in the morning or as per doctor’s directions. The total daily dose of Modavinil may be divided into a morning dose and a noon dose.
