The Modern Field Camera is designed for either indoor or outdoor uses and is an extremely capable and versatile instrument.
Rising and falling front each with locking device, rack and pinion focusing extending full length of bed, adjustment from either front or rear sliding block housing tripod socket enables either end of camera to be centered over tripod for panoraming, reversible back for vertical and horizontal pictures device. Extension piece to bed included for use where long bellows extension is required.
Focusing screen positioned with flexible spring to enable holder to be inserted and screen displaced in one movement convenient pacing of controls so that they can be operated by right hand when focusing.
Soundly made of wrinkle finish color, cast aluminum body, all metal parts of brass with chromium plated finish a sturdy leather case, (included with the camera).
All metal body construction, with three metal dark slides, but without carriers and film holder.
Focusing:
To move the front and back carriages on the monorail.
For further fine focusing use back focusing knob.
Movements of both lens and film around optical axis.
Removable vertical or horizontal, all metal ground glass.
Rising and falling each with locking knob device.
Swing vertically:
Loosen the vertical swing knob and tilt the front and back of camera.
Loading the camera:
The camera has and improved method of releasing the ground glass frame which makes it possible to remove or insert the film holder without disturbing the camera.
Pull out on the frame release handle till it extends at right angles to back and small rollers rest in the depression.
See that bottom of holder rest on protruding stops. Release the frame release handle. Long real leather bellows.
