Madhuca longifolia, commonly known as Mohwa or Mahua, is an Indian tropical tree, cultivated in warm regions for its oleaginous seeds, flowers and wood. The other botanical name is Bassia longifolia. Mohwa Massage Oil (Madhuca Indica) has emollient properties. Mohwa is a Hindi word. In Tamil, it is called Illuppai and Modgi in Orissa (Oriya).
Characteristics :
Mohwa Massage Oil is solid at ambient temperature. Several parts of the tree, including the bark, are considered holy by many tribal communities in India because of its usefulness.
Uses :
Mohwa Massage Oil is used for the care of the skin. Mohwa Massage Oil is used for body massage – rheumatism. Mohwa Massage Oil can also be used to treat piles and haemorrhoids.
