Cylindrical Molecular Sieves Type 4A, Color : Cream / Brown

Noble Molecular Sieves Type 4A is synthetic crystalline Molecular Sieves having four-dimensional potassium alumino-silicate frameworks with interconnected cavities. Access to these cavities is through pores of uniform diameter of 4Ao (angstroms).

Noble Molecular Sieves 4A adsorbs Polar Molecules with effective diameter less than 4Ao e.g. Co2, while they exclude molecules with effective diameter greater than 4Ao like n-paraffin, iso-paraffin etc.

Noble Molecular Sieves 4A is specially used for drying of a variety of hydrocarbons streams including polar liquids like Benzene, Hexane, Kerosene, Chloroform, Methylene Chloride, Naphtha, H2- rich gas, hydrocarbon-rich gas, reformer-recycle gas. Removal of Ammonia and moisture in Purge Gas recovery Unit & Removal of Methanol, Co2 in Nitrogen Wash Unit, Yarn manufacturing unit, PET manufacturing units & Pharmaceuticals Industries.

In liquid phase application all liquids should be drained off and evaporated from the adsorbent bed before thermal regeneration.

Molecular Sieves Spherical Beads is having higher surface area for better adsorption with great crushing strength for reducing the dusting in the system.

Noble Molecular Sieves Type 4A is available in Cylindrical Pellets (1.5 mm and 3.0 mm) & Spheres Form (1.6 x 2.5 mm & 2.0 x 4.0 mm)
