Contact SupplierThe mono color concentrates single color pigment concentrates usually contain very high percentages of hard to disperse pigments such as phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green, azo red etc. They gives a specspot free color shades in blown film, thin injection moulding parts at very less dose level. Due to this these masterbatches are highly economical in use.
Generally powdered pigments have aggregates and agglomerates which cannot be further broken down into primary particles by milling process. This problem is mainly observed in phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green, red, yellow etc pigments. In normal masterbatches, this problem exists as such with only minor improvements. These aggregates and agglomerates creates specifications (poor dispersion due to undispersed particles) in blown films, thin injection moulded parts etc.
In m.g. Polyblends, mono pigment concentrate (mpc) or single pigment concentrates (spc), the pigments is dispersed to the finest possible particle size by using specialty dispersant and additives under strict process conditions. These mpc or spc gives excellent dispersion in final applications.
