Resistance of the windings for detecting the open circuits loose connections in a winding coil. Inductance of the windings for detecting the short circuits between individual turns of a winding. Inductance of the windings with respect to different positions of rotor for detecting blow holes or cracks in the rotor bars. All these defects can be checked with in a few minutes without dismounting the equipment (after switching off the power supply) Motor Condition Tester MCT-9 comes along with a carry case, test leads and 6 Nos. AA size, 1.5 V cells.
