The EOCR- which we offer in Technical collaboration with M/s. Samwha Engineering Company Ltd. Of Seoul Korea are multifunction Motor Protection Relays with inbuilt protection against Over Loading, Single Phasing , Reverse Phasing, Locked Rotor, Phase Unbalance, Short Circuit Etc. in one model and are most ideally suited for round the clock protection of Motors.Pumps, Blowers etc.
These can be broadly divided in three categories
1 Electronic Solid State – Type EOCR SS ,AR, DS and SP
2 Electronic MCU – Microprocessor based Type EOCR SS1/SS2, DS1/DS2/DS3, SP1/SP2
3 Electronic MCU –Microprocessor based with Digital Display- Type EOCR 3D,F,3DM
The EOCR- are highly compact and versatile Electronic relays which operate on the basis of current sensing principle with inbuilt current transformer of the EOCR. The EOCR not only monitors the acceptable levels of current but in case of MCU based models also diagnoses the cause of trip or failure resulting in reduced downtime and increase in productivity. These relays are independent mounting relays and can be used with any make of contactor in the equipment. Besides with independent adjustable time settings for Starting delay time and Operating time these relays find many applications in all spheres of the industry. The entry level model is the EOCR SS with in built protections against Over Loading, Single Phasing and Locked rotor. In 3 models the user can cover their requirements from 0.1A-600A. For applications up to 60Amperes there is no need for the use of an external CT as the in built Current Transformers of the EOCR can pass 16Sq.mm copper conductor directly making it the most compact,effective & economical protection relay in the business. For applications above 60A there is a need to use
separate relays like BMR for over loading and SPP for protection against Single Phasing is eliminated besides having extra protections like Locked rotor and starting Delay protection.
The EOCR with MCU-Microprocessor based with digital display is one of the most unique relay for motor protection with unmatched features & guaranteed to protect your equipment from premature failures due to Overloading ,Single Phasing. Phase unbalanced, Locked Rotor, Ground fault or Short circuit. The digital display of the 3D & F series allows the user to constantly monitor actual currents in the system in all 3 phases under normal conditions and displays the cause in the event of a trip on the digital display. This relay is accredited with many International awards by leading Invention and design organisation world wide.
