Motor Vibration Machine

Motor Vibration Machine is used for the compaction of 7.06 cm. Cube specimens of mortar, by vibration, required for the determination of compressive strength tests. Motor Vibration Machine consists of a frame mounted on four coil springs and carries a cube mould and an eccentric revolving shaft mounted on ball and roller bearings. Motor Vibration Machine is so balanced that the eccentric imparts simple harmonic motion to all parts of the machine and the mould.

The frequency of vibrations is 12000 + 400 vibrations per minute. The drive from the motor to the eccentric shaft is through an endless flat belt running on crowned pulleys. Suitable for operation on 220 Volts, single phase, 50 Hz AC supply. Motor Vibration Machine is in conformance with the IS: 4031 – 1968.
