Motorcycle Gas Tank

American Japanning Inc. was contracted to perform the custom coating of a motorcycle gas tank shown here. This part was constructed from steel, and we utilized an adhesion spray treatment to prepare the part for coating. The coating consisted of a primer and base coat, and the final coating of red urethane was applied with our spray painting procedure. This labor-intensive project was carried out according to customer specifications, treating one piece for the client in an accelerated turnaround time. The part was visually inspected to verify accuracy and quality, and shipped as agreed.
