customer in the medical equipment industry contracted Gemini Plastics to fabricate the PVC mounting block highlighted here. This block was used in a medical scanning device, allowing the mating component to be fastened to the primary assembly. Our state-of-the-art CNC vertical machine center was utilized to manipulate the PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) plastic sheet to the exacting specifications. Processes including milling, drilling, and tapping were employed to reach the final shape, holding a tight tolerance of ± 0.005" throughout. The machined part was deburred to remove unwanted post machining particles.
