MS Billets

Being a semi-finished product, billet is fed into rolling mills to create long goods such structural wire rods, bars, and rods. At 1600° C, sponge iron, pig iron, and other ferro alloys are melted to produce crude steel. Billets are long bars of different sizes made from this raw steel by moulding it in a Continuous Casting Machine (CCM).
