This autonomous electronic readout instrument is designed for measuring lengths such as external, internal, step, height, or depth dimensions, as well as distances. Some parameters which can be measured (but not limited to) could be external/internal diameters, straightness, squareness, ovality, run-out of faces, etc.

Its concept also enables measurements of form and orientation tolerances such as straightness or taper errors.
