These are thermocouple tips that enable measurement of temperature multiple times.
Two different models are available viz. (1) Ceramic cup model with male connector, fitted in paper tube as per customer specified length (2) Ceramic sleeve model with male connector. There is no paper tube fitted to this model.
Multi-immersion thermocouple tips are made in various calibrations. The junctions are:
Platinum and Platinum 10% Rhodium (Type S).
Platinum and Platinum 13% Rhodium (Type R)
Platinum 6% Rhodium & Platinum 30% Rhodium (Type B).
The Platinum and Platinum alloy wires are housed in a quartz tube capable of withstanding temperatures up to 2000°C.
