Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Gaskets
The Multi-layer Steel (MLS) exhaust manifold gasket has multiple layers of stainless steel substrate. Layers are embossed with full or half embossments to give them function. These include localizing contact stress and improving response to flange motion, both of which help achieve exhaust gas sealing performance. This product can also be coated for enhanced microseal and improved abrasion resistance.
