All Gear Head Lathe Machine

The high working speeds and high power of this versatile Lathe result is an unusually wide work range. Rigid compact construction prevents vibration even at top working speeds.
THE HEADSTOCK : Its spindle made from selected steel is hollow, hardened and ground. A heavy duty thrust bearing is fitted at the back of the spindle to withstand and absorb the thurst at the spindle' front. Its bearing are adjustable and are of self oiling type. The machine can be supplied with Taper Roller Bearing at extra cost. If specially asked. The Unit is designed to run at different speeds, both dead slow and very fast.
THE BED : Its specially designed and strong cross ribs centre full confidence in the steady working of the machine under heavy turning, surfacing, screw cutting or sliding cuts. A removable gap piece is fixed with two location pins for perfect alignment.
THE SADDLE : Its has full compound slide rest indexed to swivel for conical turning and has large bearing surface with bed and slide. and is furnished with T-solts, to enable bearing and milling etc. To be carried on it. Adjustment for wear and tear is made by taper gibs.
THE TAILSTOCK: It is aligned with the bed, and is adjustable sideways for Taper turning. The plunger ground one, is graduate in inched which helps progressive and safe drilling, and that the plunger is of standard morse taper and self ejecting.
STANDARD ACCESSORIES: One face Plate; One steady Rest; One follow rest. A set of 23 machine cut change wheel Gears; A pair of dead centres.
