Multiple Spring Seals

Multiple Spring Seal with a highly effective design, commonly used in chemical and petrochemical duties. Frequently fitted along with the Type 25 clamped Stationary.
Type 1609 incorporates a P.T.F.E. Wedge secondary Seal.
Type 1609S is an ‘O’-Ring Mounted design.
A PTFE backup ring is recommended to be specified for higher pressure ‘O’-Ring applications.
