Flexpro is an entity of Mountmore Industries, known as MMI, which was founded in 1956 by Mr. J.M. Zaveri at Mumbai, India with experience in conventional & industrial Electrical Luminaries, product design and development. The company originally introduced Floodlights Luminaries for the first time in India especially developed for Railway Yard lighting. Then in 1965 M/s.MMI launched its first product in Flame & Explosion Proof version i.e. Bulkhead Luminary in India conforming to BS specification and thus became the Pioneer in the field when Indian Standards were not even formulated. Through the years MMI has continued to grow and develop many other products in the line.
M/s .Flexpro Electricals Pvt. Ltd. had laid it’s foundation in the year 1971 and with limited capital started its manufacturing activities under the guideline of Mr. J.M. Zaveri with his five sons at Nasik, Maharashtra, India, with a small industrial unit of 3500 sq. feet area, to engage and consciously excel itself in the field of manufacturing wide range of Flameproof & Explosion Proof Equipments.
The years brought laurels to the Company by way of winning the prestigious gold medal at XXV TranWorld for its quality products. The development in the range of our product was directly proportional to the development in the field of Project Engineering, but our main focus remains towards the Electrical Equipments specially designed for use in Hazardous Environments like Mines and Collieries, Petroleum Refineries, Oil & gas Pipe lines, LPG Plants, Pumping Stations, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Pharmaceuticals, Three wings of Defence, Rubber and Paint Industries, Chemical Plants, O.N.G.C., Port Trusts, Dock Yards and many more Hazardous Industries.
Today Flexpro, an ISO: 9001-2008 Company is the largest manufacturer of Flame & Explosion Proof and Weatherproof Electrical Equipments in India, having a range of more than 150 products. Of course, we are not complacent with what has been achieved by us, from sheer hard work, arduous and persistent efforts in making our equipments more and more trustworthy. We have developed our own Research and Development wing, where with the help of stalwarts in the line of manufacturing of Flameproof Equipments and with help of most sophisticated testing equipments and machineries, the process of all-round development and modernisation of our equipments for energy saving and according to the requirement of our clients is always a continues process. The Factory is spread over an area of 49827 Sq. feet. with 45,000 Sq. feet as factory building area.
The team of Flexpro is headed by CMD Mr. Dinesh J. Zaveri, a technocrat responsible for framing the company’s policies and their implementation, jointly along with his four brothers, and now a son. Each individual is very dynamic & energetic. Mr. S.J. Zaveri & Mr. V.J. Zaveri, The Technical Directors, are the live wires in the organisation with wide experience in the field of overall development and marketing, thus providing a cutting edge to the organisation and are also capable and responsible for overall management.
Mr. R. J. Zaveri is responsible for controlling overall finance, & Mr. A.J. Zaveri is responsible for Production and Quality management.
Subsequently Mr. P.D. Zaveri, a young & dynamic son of CMD and a qualified marketing hand from our new generation joined us to strengthen the organization.
