Georgette is a semi-sheer fabric with slight pebble texture. It is made from silk or polyester. It is subjected to normal shrinkage which is easily retired by ironing and has a great mildew resistance ability. It is commonly used for blouses, tunics, sarees, salwar, dresses including A-line, pleated, flare and wrap dresses.
