These towers are natural draft cooling towers made from M.S. HDG Structures and FRP louvers, and the spray headers are made from M.S pipes HDG with spray nozzles. These cooling towers are designed for minimum 3MPH wind velocity and for minimal temperature drop of 3-4 Degree C. There are no mechanical parts like Motor, Fan, Gear box. The main disadvantage in this cooling tower is the windage and drift loss is very high. Hence the make up water required is high. Secondly the area required for such cooling tower is large.
