Plant Origin and Distribution :
Ginseng, a kind of perennial herbaceous plant, florescence is from June to September, fruit period is from July to September. Wild species always founded in Northeast China, Changbai Mountains and the South-east zone of Xiaoxing'anling. Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces have a large number of cultivation. In addition, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and other province have aslo introduced this plant.
