Contact SupplierFennel is a flowering plant species in the carrot family. It is a highly aromatic and flavorful herb used in cookery and, along
with the similar-tasting anise, is one of the primary ingredients of absinthe. The Fennel plant grows to 2.5 meters tall and is harvested by hand. The fruit is a dry seed from 4–10 mm long, half as wide or less, and grooved. China produces more than 60% of the world output of fennel seeds, with India and Bulgaria as leading secondary producers.
