Naval Brass

Naval Brass is a classic material for many applications in fresh and salt water environments. The addition of up to 1% tin inhibits the loss of zinc in many environments resulting in strong corrosion resistance properties. Good wear and fatigue resistance combined with excellent thermal conductivity and formability yield a brass alloy suitable for a wide range of marine and other difficult liquid environments.
