Needle Bearings

Needle bearings are bearings which are used to reduce the frictions of a rotating surface. It is a roller bearings with cylindrical rollers that have high length-to diameter ratios. As it have a small cross- section, the bearings have a high load carrying capacity and are suitable for bearing arrangements where radial space is limited. It is also featured with greater rigidity, lower inertia forces that facilitate size and weight reductions in machinery. They perform well under severe conditions and interchange with sliding bearings.
