Neem Herbal Oil and Neem Agriculture Grade

Neem Oil is a natural oil extracted from the seeds of the neem tree (Azadirachta indica), commonly used in both herbal (medicinal/cosmetic) and agriculture (pesticide/fertilizer) applications. The two grades—herbal and agricultural—differ in terms of processing, purity, and usage.

Use: Skin care, hair care, Ayurvedic medicine, soaps, cosmetics.

Key Characteristics:

• Cold-pressed: Extracted without heat to preserve nutrients.

• High purity: Free from chemical additives or solvents.

• Azadirachtin content: Lower than agricultural grade (not a priority).

• Filtered: Free from particulates and odor-reduced for cosmetic use.

• Color & odor: Dark brown to golden, strong garlic-sulfur smell (may be deodorized for cosmetics).

Common Applications:

• Treating acne, eczema, psoriasis

• Anti-fungal and antibacterial creams

• Hair oil and dandruff treatment

• Ayurvedic formulations

Use: Natural pesticide, fungicide, fertilizer enhancer.

Key Characteristics:

• Cold-pressed or solvent-extracted

• High Azadirachtin content: Typically 1000–3000 ppm (parts per million) for insecticidal effect

• Not refined for consumption or skin use

• May include emulsifiers for water solubility

• Insect control (aphids, whiteflies, mites, etc.)

• Anti-fungal soil treatment

• Foliar sprays for crops, gardens

• Organic farming and IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
