Extraction:
Neroli essential oil is also known as Orange blossom oil and the essential oil is extracted from the flowers of bitter orange trees (Citrus aurantium subsp. amara or Bigaradia). Neroli Oil is extracted from flowers by Steam distillation process. The aroma of Neroli oil is sweet, fresh, green, and reminiscent of Neroli blossoms. The color is pale yellow to dark yellowish orange and the viscosity is watery. Neroli has been shown to be an effective and therapeutic choice for the management of pain and inflammation. It has both antioxidant and anti-microbial properties.
